Description:

Our theme, “Dementia: Managing Not to Forget”, will bring together leading Researchers,Geriatricians, Advanced Trainee Registrars in Geriatric Medicine and Psychogeriatricians, with General Practitioners, Specialist Dementia Nurses and Allied Health staff also invited to attend.

The theme encompasses the journey of a dementia patient from prevention, early symptoms and diagnosis, current and emerging treatments, to managing advanced disease.

Our keynote speaker, Professor Peter Passmore, Professor of Ageing and Geriatric Medicine at Queen’s University, Belfast, is a leading researcher in Alzheimer’s Disease and Vascular Dementia. He will update us on several ‘hot’ topics in dementia management including the interface between vascular risk factors, mild cognitive impairment and Dementia.

With the prevalence of Dementia rising each year, our conference aims to foster impeccable Dementia care and management for the future.
