This course aims at promoting harmonization of procedures for clinical and biological diagnosis, as well as management and follow-up of patients with very rare red cell disorders. These include red blood cell membrane disorders and enzymopathies, congenital dyserythropoietic anaemias, and other rare disorders of the red blood cell. The meeting should be of interest for biologists, haematologists, paediatricians and trainees in haematology. In a two day agenda, the meeting will provide both main practical diagnosis aspects and the latest scientific updates on the topic. Speakers will use different type of training approaches comprising full talks, presentation of clinical cases with voting boxes, and interactive sessions allowing group discussions with the experts.
